I'll share 3 tips on how to overcome chronic fatigue. Chronic fatigue refers to a condition where fatigue persists without any organic cause. Generally, if fatigue lasts for more than a month, it's called 'persistent fatigue,' and if it lasts for more than 6 months, it's called 'chronic fatigue syndrome.' Today, I'll be sharing some secrets to help you escape chronic fatigue.
Reducing underlying fatigue is actually the most fundamental condition for escaping chronic fatigue. Chronic fatigue stems from a state of energy deficiency. Overwork is the main culprit behind energy depletion. The 'Monday blues' or 'Monday fatigue syndrome' is also caused by this reason.
Since you start work again without fully recovering from the fatigue accumulated throughout the week during the weekend, it becomes difficult to concentrate on work every Monday. That's why fatigue accumulation is likened to debt.
If this fatigue continues to build up, the debt of fatigue accumulates, leading to burnout. Therefore, you need to constantly repay the fatigue debt through sufficient rest. In essence, money is like grinding your body to earn it.
Second, strengthening the digestive system aims to increase the absorption rate of nutrients obtained from food. Many people seek out health foods and nourishing meals to replenish nutrients. However, there's something more important than eating nourishing food. That is avoiding bad food.
No matter how much good food you eat, it's all in vain if you continue to consume bad food. This is because bad food continuously weakens the digestive system. As a result, even the most delicious delicacies may not be properly absorbed. Therefore, instead of focusing on strengthening the digestive system, it's better to prioritize avoiding bad food.
You should avoid alcohol and coffee, which can worsen gastritis. Alcohol washes away the mucus that protects the stomach lining. This exposes the stomach lining to stomach acid and toxins directly. That's why your stomach hurts after drinking.
It also washes away the mucus that protects the large intestine's wall, potentially leading to increased abdominal pain and diarrhea. Coffee stimulates stomach acid secretion, aiding digestion. However, it reduces the secretion of mucus that protects the stomach lining.
Therefore, it can exacerbate gastritis or ulcers. Overeating is also not good. Reducing the intake of carbohydrates that cause inflammation is also crucial. Consuming excessive amounts of any food can cause mechanical damage to the stomach and intestines.
Eating less is good for your health. It's imperative to avoid spicy and salty stimulating foods, instant foods, alcohol and coffee that can continuously damage the stomach and intestines, and overeating.
Third, strengthening the respiratory system is crucial for energy production through oxygen supply. Our bodies have an organ called 'mitochondria.' Mitochondria are where all the cells in our bodies produce energy. They produce energy batteries called ATP. The constantly produced ATP is the energy source that drives all our body's muscles and nerves.
However, for these mitochondria to function properly, oxygen is essential. Therefore, if you have weak respiratory function or respiratory diseases, the mitochondria cannot perform their role. Even if you consume the best foods, they cannot be converted into energy sources.
There are essential nutrients required for energy production in human cells, and vitamin B complex is among the most important. That's why people advise taking vitamin B when feeling tired. Organic acid enzymes are also crucial for energy production. Therefore, consuming lemon, plum, vinegar, etc., along with vitamin B complex-rich brewer's yeast can be beneficial.
Exercise is paramount for strengthening the lungs and bronchi, the respiratory organs. You cannot strengthen your lungs without exercise.
I'll share one basic way to tell if your lungs are healthy or not. Listen to your voice. If your voice is loud and strong, your lung function is strong, and if your voice is weak and soft, your lung function is weak.
Similar to lung function, avoiding bad food is important. Smoking is the worst. I strongly recommend quitting smoking as it directly blocks oxygen supply. It's best not to even think about treating chronic fatigue while smoking.
Finally, when managing fatigue, there's one more thing I'd like to emphasize: stress management. Stress triggers autonomic nervous system disorders. It causes overexcitation of the sympathetic nervous system, accelerating energy consumption.
When people get angry and irritated, they experience anger, and the nerves consume tremendous energy during this time. Even when sitting still, it consumes the same amount of energy as running. That's why fatigue levels increase as stress accumulates.
Manage your digestive system well for optimal absorption of quality nutrients, manage your respiratory system well for sufficient oxygen supply, exercise regularly for blood circulation, manage stress and get enough rest to avoid excessive energy consumption, and I believe you can have a healthy life free from chronic fatigue.
